What to include in your quote request
Your site and equipment
Give the suburb and describe the workplace, such as an office, workshop or shared premises. An approximate count is useful if you do not yet have an equipment list. Mention appliances, power tools, extension leads and power boards separately where possible, and flag any equipment you are unsure about so its inclusion can be confirmed.
Access and timing
Include your preferred date, the best site contact and any access restrictions. Explain whether equipment is spread across several rooms or locations and when it can be made available. If your workplace has an induction or a particular deadline, add that detail to the enquiry so it can be considered before a booking is agreed.
Scope and written pricing
A quote request starts a discussion about the work; it does not confirm an appointment. DSS uses your details to confirm the equipment scope, availability and written price. You can review the indicative pricing and service areas before enquiring. For reporting needs, explain who will use the digital records and any format or procurement requirements your workplace needs considered.
